Idle temperature of oven

I didn't see anything marked on mine or the paperwork that came with it for that matter... The safety that I purchased also required an adapter to go from a flair fitting to a compression fitting for the pilot. (See picture) Other then that, I did it just like you did....

Yeah my safety valve came with no instructions either. I guess the people who usually buy these things are appliance technicians who have installed about half a million of them every year and know it all by heart now.

What is the idle temperature after making your adjustment?

The idle temp on my oven after the adjustment is between 125 to 150 degrees. Before I made the adjustment it was well over 200 degrees. I could probably turn the pilot down more, but this is livable to me.... and most importantly, my little wifey... LOL!!

I am going to make this adjustment myself, but in the hot months we turn off all pilots to keep the kitchen cool. In the winter the extra heat is welcome.
